Abstract
Vietnam, with its extensive coastline and growing maritime activity, is strategically positioned to benefit from the global shift toward sustainable port development. The implementation of green port strategies worldwide offers valuable lessons as Vietnam charts its own path toward port sustainability. This article examines global green port initiatives and their applicability to Vietnam's context, analyzing current developments, challenges, and opportunities for the future. The findings suggest that Vietnam has made significant progress in adopting green port practices but requires continued investment and policy support to fully realize the environmental and economic benefits of sustainable port development.
